Projects approved by the University of Manitoba Bannatyne REBs will be imported and available in RITHIM Harmony as of Monday, November 10, 2025.
Requirements:
- Imported projects must be reviewed and validated with signature from the Principal Investigator.

Timing:
- Research Projects Approved by the Bannatyne REB fall into one of two categories Fully Approved Research* or In-Flight Applications* which will guide the timing for validation in Harmony.

- Fully Approved Research*
Validation of Fully Approved Research can begin November 10, 2025.
Validation requires:
- Verification of imported information
- Provision of additional information/uploads regarding approved documents, PHRPC approval (if applicable), and health system approval(s) (as applicable)
After validation has been completed, follow-on applications can be submitted.
- In-Flight Applications*
Continue engaging with applicable review bodies through historical processes until your project is Fully Approved. Non-UofM post-secondary institutions will be notified once delegation of health research reviews by their institution occurs and new applications for health research through historical processes will stop.
Other Important Deadlines
- November 24, 2025: Deadline for responses to tabled applications to the Bannatyne office
- December 5, 2025: Deadline for responses to conditional approvals to the Bannatyne office
